The Multiplayer mode of Elite Beat Agents and Moero! Nekketsu Rythm Damashii: Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 comes in three varieties:
- Vs. Player, where you face against up to 4 players. Team Red and Blue attempt to get a better hit rate than the other to win. Can be played with at least one card, but if a player joins a game without a card, the later difficulties and songs are unavailable.
- Vs. Ghost, where you play the previous mode against a saved replay. One player only.
- Co-op, where players take turns tapping to sections of the single-player levels. Multicart only.
The Multiplayer mode of Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan is basically the same. The only difference is all players need a card to play. As the player cannot save replays, Vs. Ghost is also nonexistent.
