Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 is the sequel to Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan.
Overview[]
Six years after the first Ouendan game, we see The Cheer Squad ready to face another year. This time, a new squad appears, The Encouraging Nobility. The game uses the exact same game mechanics as the previous Ouendan game, with some new features from Elite Beat Agents, such as single-cart multiplayer and a 3-D map.

New features[]
- Players who fail any mission before the last two on the easiest difficulty are granted an immediate second chance with their spirit meter put back at half full.
- A revamped ranking system that unlocks special Ouendan pictures when certain ranks are reached, as well as a harder mode where timer circles are hidden in exchange for a global 1.5x score multiplier.
- Mission outros can now be skipped.
- A bug in the tutorial mode that desynchronizes the music when it is paused is patched, allowing players to pause in the tutorial, unlike in Elite Beat Agents.
- Improved replay management; players can now delete replays individually and save up to a total of 20 replays; multiple replays can now be for the same mission and/or same difficulty level.
- The top 3 high scores for a mission are retained, with detailed statistics saved with the highest score.
- The multiplayer mode offers increased flexibility with character choice, with many more characters to play as due to the doubling of the cast of characters.
- "EBA Mode" is available as downloadable content to replace Ouendan with Elite Beat Agents skins.
